Like so many other dragons had previously, Eien stood silently at the very edge of what was once the Dark Territory, taking in the remains of Ysera's unexpected rampage. What a fool. She had, of course, known the Earth Elemental tended to be governed by emotion, but this... this had been rash, and highly uncalled for. Even in the wars long past, the land of dragons had not faced this scale of destruction at her hands. Or rather, claws, she supposed.
But at least it had not been any worse- of the lives lost, very few had belonged to Creations, and none of the Elementals' children, including her own, had been harmed in the process- much to the relief of many. More than that, what was done was done. A return to things as they had been was simply not possible, and what reparations could have been made had been. For all concerned parties, it would do for now.
That said, she had not come here just to mull over recent events. After all, even she could be curious at times, and now was just such a case. She sought to explore this new place- Dragonsdeep, as they called it- both for her own benefit, and perhaps to pay a visit to Icarus to see how he was faring. Even if it had meant little, they had once been mates, and she felt some form of obligation to do so as a result.
And so, after a short while longer of interested observation, the Death Elemental began making her way down toward the entrance. As was so often the case, any Creations that were around gave her a wide berth, some even stepping out of her way well before she reached them. She paid them all little heed, of course- their unease meant almost nothing to her. It was only natural to fear Death, as she had learned eons ago. Passing a vaguely curious glance over the massive stone dragons guarding the tunnel, Eien strode calmly into the darkness and whatever lay ahead.
