For the first time in a very, very long while, the Elemental of Death felt rather tense. Not really nervous, per se, just... on guard, she supposed. And why wouldn't she be? Given the circumstances, some might say she was practically under-reacting. After all, it was rare indeed for her to meet with her rival Elemental, especially outside of the annual Gatherings. Yet here the two of them were- or rather, would be, as she had yet to reach the designated meeting place near the border of Light and Death.
Despite the implied urgency of the situation, Eien was in no hurry to get there, either. She'd elected to walk rather than fly, and had kept up a leisurely pace all the way. It gave her time to think, to go back over the discussion she'd had with her Rider earlier that day. She knew that he'd left her own Territory in favor of a brief change or scenery, and had met the Life Rider in the process. Fine. He could use some extra interaction with individuals other than herself and the wisp. Shortly afterward, he had taken Jester on something of a tour through her Territory. No issues there either, aside from perhaps a mildly rattled Life Rider- but that was of little consequence to her. Fazoola's arrival, however, had spawned rather different results. Whether by chance or purpose, the Life Elemental had discovered something both Eien and her Rider would have preferred to keep to themselves a while longer, and that was why this meeting of theirs had been called. Rather inconvenient, she'd thought, but avoiding it would only serve to make things worse. So here she was.
Some amount of walking later, the ever-persistent mists of her territory eventually gave way to the brightness characterizing the Light Territory, and it was here she stopped. Luminous blue eyes settled on the golden figure of Fazoola who, as expected, was already there, waiting for Eien's arrival. Without a word, Death eased herself to the ground, wrapping her long tail about her body once she was settled. This done, her gaze locked with the other Elemental's, and she tilted her head just slightly to the side, giving Fazoola an expectant look as though to say 'Well? What is it?'
