Karalis was trying his best to observe his rider to make sure he wasn't doing anything stupid. Arcadius was a bit hard to handle sometimes, like when he didn't understand others too well. He had yet to fully understand the language that dragons spoke but Karalis was only lucky he knew how to speak greek since he had been to greece a few times to explore. The tiny cat man was almost like a little brother to the feathery dragon, highly considering he had saved him from a rather hard mental breakdown after shifting for the first time. He was a tiny lad, the tiniest elf he had seen, let alone someone for a human. He sighed promptly, flicking his tail back and forth watching Arcadius try to tie a book together with some strings of bark. A personal journal he was keeping for himself. One thing Karalis couldn't do was read very well, in any language so there was no hopes of reading that small book filled with his new riders thoughts.
Arcadius walked over to the dragon, blank expression as always as he stroked Karalis on the side of his snout. Curiously the usually silent elf did these things, as Karalis smiled at him, sticking out a thin snake like tongue for a moment before grinning at him. Resting his wings down, it was more often than not Arcadius was studying him carefully, very carefully. He was an adult by terms of the humans, but yet he acted very reserved but he did suppose that was because of his parents untimely death. Karalis wasn't quiet sure what he'd do if his mother died, he wasn't even sure if that was possible so it settled his nerves a bit. Grabbing the edge of Arcadius' clothing a little nipping at him the man would lean against the dragon as Karalis looked around, speaking of mother where was she?
