Siru looked down at Acacia, curled up on his paw, only a small section of her body visible from his angle. He was surprised to see the little creature make such a bold move. Her question too surprised him, if only because he wasn't totally sure of the answer. He supposed he just had little need for flight. Siru was a dragon of Earth, he spent his days wandering about the forest and hunting insects and mice in dappled pools of light. These actions did not typically necessitate flight. Granted, his wings did make some things easier. With his small stature, it would be otherwise rather inconvenient to move from one part of the territory to another. But the fact remained that they were not discussing whether or not his wings were useful. They were discussing whether or not they were necessary. And his wings, strictly speaking, were not necessary for survival.
Then again, it also seemed unlikely that Acacia would actually physically die without water in which to swim. She might not live an overly happy life without it, but surely she would survive so long as there was rain to drink. Perhaps he was being too literal here.
Siru looked up as Jester spoke. By the Rider's reckoning, it could not live- figuratively, he now supposed- without its Elemental. Fazoola, Life. Siru supposed that it must be nice to have somebody looking out for you like that. Imagine what sort of delicacies he could partake of if he had someone bigger, someone better equipped, to do his hunting for him! He'd never tasted fresh deer, he'd heard rumours though- from dull-witted companions singing its praises, without ever realising that perhaps he would like to relate. A diet of mice and insects got tedious after a while, after all. And carrion, while providing ready access to other flavours, was not the most appetising option. Decaying meat had a certain...putrid quality to it, which he found distinctly unappealing.
An entirely irrelevant tangent, he thought, scolding himself internally for such a lapse in concentration. He hadn't eaten yet that day, he now realised, but that was no reason to become distracted. He wasn't about to waste away and die, after all. Simple biology was not about to get the better of him.
"I suppose, technically, none of us could survive without the air," he said wryly. "So perhaps, in spite of popular belief, it truly is the most important of the elements. I don't fly a lot, Acacia, it's true. That's not to say that I don't fly at all, or that I do not appreciate the ability. I truly do. But I also feel that, without it, I could get by just fine. Maybe the forest is a better example of something I could not live without, for some dragons truly do believe that survival of the fittest refers to physical prowess, and the forest is an astounding place in which to prove them wrong."
He smiled slightly, gently shifting his paw to better view the small Water Creation. Her scales were small and cool, but it was obvious she had not been in the water in some time. And yet, she was not dead.

ooc: Much ramble, Siru shut up! xD
I wasn't intending to make his thoughts digress this much, I just kinda went with the flow and it happened.
