Sons & Daughters
Criss, son of the Water and Fire Elementals, is an angry and conflicted young dragon with a buried heart of gold. While many dragons are most at home in the sea or the sky, Criss prefers to keep his feet firmly planted on the ground, thank you so very much. But if he could only embrace his Water heritage, he would find that he can breathe underwater just as well as he can breathe air!
Uncaring to the world and everyone's emotions in it. The only ones she takes interest in is her own creations of water. And even then it is a disgusting dance with the devil if you are caught within her clutches. She dwells with pain, she does not care for anyone's well being. Apathetic in her state, numb to everything, she is a monster in all that she could possibly be. A elemental, with a nasty sting in her tone.
Deceptive, Blend ~ seem normal
You have now wandered into the devils lair. Renhet doesn't let her true nature on so easily, feeling the need to protect the inside of her mind in order to survive. She can easily put on a safe and happy face for others. To seem normal and not so corrupted in order for the world to function. Though she avoids contact with outside sources as much as she can. When the elementals decide to meet, she calls it a sunshine day. Most of the elementals are not aware of her true nature, aside from the moment she engulfed the death elemental.
Distasteful, Rude ~ no return
Her true nature, under the cover within the confines of her mental state is rude and disgraceful. An ugly abomination with no care for word boundaries and can be filthy when it comes to the cuss words that spew from her maw. She has no care for moral codes, what they believe in, what they see as right and as wrong. Renhet's vision of these things has completely gone black, and there is no return for her.
Curious, Childish ~ exploring
Renhet has a child trapped inside of her, a curious one at that. One of the rare softer sides to herself, to explore, and to gain knowledge among other things. She can turn into a small puppy dog searching for a treasure if a bone is presented to her. Renhet won't let anything stand in her way, but she still in her deep conscious has a sense of worth with this trait. Her curious nature is what makes her such a good scientist.
Perfectionist, symmetrical ~ everything her way
Everything must be done her way, or no way at all. Things need to be perfect and in order, almost anything that she does needs to be aligned the way it was supposed to be. Without it being that way, she can suffer from headaches and even bloody noses. Renhet in her perfect little world, where no one can interrupt her. If you do, you will have to face a rather scary demise.
Scientific, thoughtful ~ mad
The world is for her to dissect, she creates and destroys. Renhet considers herself a true god, a creator and someone who can take life away just as easily from her creations. To study behavior, to try and understand it even if she can't quiet do it herself. The scientist is known for her experiments, and along the way this intelligence might have helped the dragons in their life. But it takes a lot for her to share her knowledge.
Misunderstood, diseased ~ Cannibalistic
She is sick, sick in the head. Misunderstood and broken down, left in the trash. Renhet engulfs those who are unworthy, those who stand in her path and cannot understand her point of view. She engulfed the creation nex of death. And it empowered her even more, sinking into the depths of near insanity. Renhet could not face the obstacle of time. She has lived, far too long.
Psychologist, Observant ~ needy
The study of the mind, and it's processes. Not only a scientist but a psychologist, she wishes to know what makes them tick. What makes them who they are when they leave her claws into the world. What will they become, what can she do to manipulate them beyond repair. A sick obsession, but a helpful one all the same.
The beast you see before you, is a man, through and through with genetics. Procreation only possible with females, but with a flamboyant way of moving, her thought process and habits are that of a woman. The elemental has long since wanted herself to be called a woman despite her down comings on the biological pool of sexes. A very slim frame, with muscles only barren like pressed underneath the scales that are made to be waterproof. She takes pride in her beastly appearance as if she were a queen.
A pure color of blue, all across her body, gives away her element in an instant if not for the masses of fins covering her body. Her elbows, tail and between her fingers or claws are webbed for mobility in the water. Her size can measure easily to a mountain, and even if others may not see her form as beauty. It is pure perfection to her, equal on both sides. With white eyes to boot, she is a looker for appearances.
Mobility is key, gills sit just underneath her jaw line to be able to breath under water. Yet she still has functioning lungs to be able to crawl onto land, when her scales are dry her huge wings can take her into flight across the land to wherever she may please. Large needle like teeth sit inside of a beak like snout. The teeth can easily tear into flesh, and tear it off in a single bite. She is indeed, a monster.
-Ate Nex -Had child with Izett -Somewhere a while ago lost herself to insanity(memory is fuzzy of her past for the most part
Relying strictly on her water powers for her weapons. She can also spew boiling hot water out of her stomach as a substitute for fire. Renhet absolutely hates being called a man, a pet peeve ever since she has been a young elemental. Her claws work just as well as her elemental powers do. But however she would never rely on any human or elven made weapons. All natural with her mind-set.
The water was deeper than she had anticipated, it was heaven among the most hellish of things. The watery grave covered in ships of the human and elven world that had somehow crossed over, in a tragic turn of events from past, present and future. There was no sign as to how they had got here, how this area had appeared in her territory in the first place. Scaly finned claws would push against the currents, smoothly pushing her along to inspect what this wreckage had caused. Her electric blue eyes glowed, mouth forming small little glowing bubbles as they spewed from her jaws with the curiosity that bubbled up inside. Her brain was beginning to try and dig down, and assess this. Had she just forgotten this was here, or was it new.
"You shall be known as Alazar, you will be the one who seeks knowledge in his life." A bit of light, a bit of flesh and the elemental settled herself inside the chasm of a ship. Finned claws moving forward, like clay a small life form made itself known within the beasts jaws. Would it die, or would it become what it was told, thwart off its path. Her memory was fuzzy of this place, but whatever it reminded her of, was going into a creation. A child, a child she would study among the others. Her long tail fanned over the small chick as he finally took a breath with his gills into the world. Would he sink, or would he swim. The corrupted elemental was curious.
Samantha: And Paradox was amazing Dae! I enjoyed writing Adutaine opposite them. =)

Samantha: I get that Blazeh, no worries. <3 The site is pretty dead, it was just me and 27th and we couldn't keep it going on our own.
Apr 23, 2018 12:00:45 GMT
DaeSiggil: Oops, I know I haven't often helped by disappearing as I did. But still thinking about this place! <3

Verridith: Hey hon, love you guys but haven't seen anything happen since 2017 ;A; hope all are well! But have to remove you from BTACD's sister sites. I'm sorry! </3 </3 </3

Samantha: Exactly! It can be tricky, back home most of my friends are just from school, university or work. xD And it was lovely. They were all so lovely, the ones I was with spent the whole time talking about history, it was fun and edumacational.

27th: Wow! You got to have dinner with the authors? Making new friends is always nice. I know that struggle as I don't socialize like my peers.
Sept 12, 2017 18:00:11 GMT
Samantha: that great at doing haha (I don't like going out to parties and stuff, which seems to be the main way people my age socialise.)
Sept 11, 2017 23:11:00 GMT
Samantha: -looks at timestamp on last reply- Eeeek, apologies for the delay! But yeah it was AMAZING. My favourite author signed my favourite book, and we even had dinner with the authors one of the nights. Plus, I made some new friends, which I don't tend to be
Sept 11, 2017 23:10:37 GMT
27th: That sounds very cool! I would have loved going to something like that.
Aug 20, 2017 21:03:22 GMT
Samantha: It just means 'science fiction and fantasy.' So it was a conference for authors of these things, and scholars who study them!
Aug 19, 2017 21:10:27 GMT
27th: Glad you had a good time in Sweden! What is SFF?
Aug 11, 2017 16:08:48 GMT
Samantha: Sorry for the disappearance. I was in Sweden for an SFF conference- it was pretty cool!
Aug 11, 2017 10:48:27 GMT
Samantha: It's sad, yeah. We need more members to have more staff, we need more staff to keep the place active, and we need to have the place active to get more members. Sort of a vicious cycle. =P
Jul 31, 2017 16:46:13 GMT
Samantha: The problem is that the main person who likes to run contests, Riv, also has a tendency to disappear. xD And I don't have the time and the energy to run this place proper on my own.
Jul 31, 2017 16:45:38 GMT
27th: Yes, it is a lot of work. Though, I agree it could be worth the effort. As far as contests go, we've tried them here at DotE before. I don't know how well any of them worked but we it couldn't hurt to try.
Jul 30, 2017 5:53:42 GMT
R: Could try a contest?
Jul 29, 2017 4:40:04 GMT
shadow: Well. Yea. That also is a lot of work. It would be worth it though
Jul 28, 2017 4:12:51 GMT
27th: Well, recruitment would be key to that. Contacting the members we already have to try and get them to participate here would also be part of that.
Jul 26, 2017 15:52:29 GMT
shadow: I wonder what would happen if we tried to make it alive again
