AGE
Twenty one.Female
PansexualParents
Daughter of Ysera and TivialousRider

Kysannis is outwardly a dutiful daughter of the Elementals. Having inherited her mother's intellect and twisted way of thinking, the dragoness quickly figured out that if her parents believed her to be responsible and have learned her lessons well, she would be let out from under their protective wing sooner. The Daughter wasted no time in buttering them up and acting like the perfect child.
While she shows some ability with light magics, Kysannis was born with more Earth power, which will be discussed later. However, due to this, when she was young she often felt overshadowed by the brilliance of Kession, as did her older sister Prism. Kysannis noted this, and is trying to think of ways to get her sister, whom Kysannis has decided is a faithful follower not unlike a wolf, to forsake their brother and stand beside the little shapechanger. As one might've guessed, Kysannis does not often make friends, even though she frequently makes acquaintances in her wanderings.
Now that Kysannis is on her own in the world, she's rather awkward and uncertain of what to do still. She's less experienced than she likes to believe. Now that she's got an entire land in front of her, Kysannis isn't entirely certain whose side she's on yet, and in conflicts she often helps both sides or flip-flops between them as she tries to adjust herself to the world.
Like the magic she wields, and like her physical form, Kysannis's thinking is often very similar to her mother's in the fact that she's unpredictable, smart, clever, and extremely creative. It's almost as if her mind has multiple, constantly changing facets, as she always attacks a problem from different angles at once.
In a fight, Kysannis is the epitome of control. Her extensive training with magic augments her considerable fighting ability, as she can always catch an opponent off guard by shifting her forms rapidly. However, if some of her friends have been killed and she is faced with the opportunity for an act of vengeance, Kysannis has a sort of stored cold fury that comes out whenever she needs to avenge someone. When in battle with those who harmed/killed whoever she is avenging, she will taunt them and play with her prey.
Overall, Kysannis is creative, smart, and manipulative.

Appearance
Because Kysannis's form is so malleable, she has the full capacity to never look the same. But as she usually pretends she is a Creation, she stays in her natural and favorite form.
In this form, Kysannis looks like a mix between an Eastern dragon and a wolf, with a long, flowing tail. She has two pairs of feathery wings, one on her shoulders and one on her rump, as well as a snake-like neck. Her green fur is often unruly and sticks out every which way. In motion, Kysannis is like a leopard, her every movement graceful and flowing.
On her head there are three horns, one on her forehead and two more, one behind each ear. The single horn on her forehead is short and sharp, much like a baby unicorn's bud-horn. Additionally, she has a wolf-like maw filled with sharp fangs.
Her two blue, crystalline horns are actually not natural horns at all. When she was a very young wyrmling, she managed to find a way out of the cave nursery which Ysera had left her in. After a few hours of scampering around the caves in a flurry of excited wyrmlinghood, she happened upon a cave with two massive, glowing, spear-like crystals growing out of the wall. Much like any other dragon, especially an Earth Dragon, Kysannis felt a deep and immediate attraction to the two jewels. After an hour or so of trying to pry them out of the stone they grew from with what brute strength the little wyrmling had, she sat back with a huff and glared at the gems. Like many wyrmlings, such emotion caused her powers to activate, and a swirl of the little dragoness's energy brushed against the crystals.
As soon as her power touched them, the crystals flashed with light and emerged from the stone that shrouded them. A spellbound Kysannis realized how big and beautiful they were. The crystals drifted through the air to behind her head, and soon the wyrmling felt the cool touch of the crystals behind her ears. In a wave of energy that sent a shiver through her entire length, the crystals affixed themselves to her and shrank down to fit her diminutive size.
Kysannis spent the next hour trying to get them off before finally realizing how lost she was. They've stayed on her ever since, as her mother told her that there was no way to get them off. They are practically unbreakable, and they obey only her and her mother's will.

Other
Horns: The two blue crystals which are now her horns are a totally unique mineral that augments her natural magical abilities in both Light and Earth magic. She can draw from their inner stores of energy for a devastating Earth or Light attack, but it takes them a week to recharge their energies from sunlight or nearby plants. Due to this, Kysannis does not often use their power, preferring to simply use them to augment her own considerable abilities.
Shapechanging: Kysannis's form is fluid and malleable. She doesn't so much shapechange as simply alter herself. While it does take more energy than plain old shapechanging, Kysannis has found that her type of shape-altering is much more suited to her way of thinking. She can shapeshift (as I will continue to call it) into nearly anything using this method, and due to a lot of practice, is very efficient at it. Kysannis enjoys shifting into a form entirely not her own and fooling others.
Breath Weapon: From her mouth Kysannis can exhale a cloud of acid. While easy to dodge, it's quite deadly if you get caught in it. She is immune to the acid, but cannot control where it goes besides the area she points her head at.
Control over Earth: Kysannis has basic control over earth, allowing her to create spikes of rock and do many simple tricks.
Control over Light: Kysannis has basic control over Light, but definitely not as much as she has over earth. She can focus her power to create a laser-like beam from her center horn or her eyes, but that's about it. It's not even that powerful, only about the power of a laser pointer. She just uses it for show, really.
Summon Treant: As benefits a favorite of Ysera, Kysannis can summon a treant made of trees native to the area which she's in. She does not often use this power, as it takes her four weeks to carefully build up the stored energy that is required to perform such a feat.
