Name: Nex
Gender: Male
Creator: The Death Elemental
Appearance: Nex has an ethereal type look. His scales are grey, if not a light black. His wings are the same shade on the outside, yet a dirty white beneath. His spikes are massive and jet black, reaching nearly a foot in height on his head, stretching down to his back, and finally diminishing towards his tail. Smaller duplicates of these spikes are found on most of his arm/leg joints. His claws and horns also consist of the ebony colour. His chest is layered with a thin streak of spikey plates that crawl downwards until reaching his belly. Finally, to ensure his deathly facade, a conspicouous skull mask is placed atop his face, hiding anything from his horns to his muzzle, with the exception of two luminous red orbs glistening where his eyes were intended to be.
Personality: Nex has the tendancy to isolate himself from the majority of the world. He doesn't notice his lack of social interest, and doesn't quite care to get involved in it. However, he has managed to maintain his sanity (due to his uncanny power). In the unlikey state of meeting another creation, Nex would most likely make it awkward. He could care less about talking, let alone spending time in the pitiful creation's presence. Yes, pitiful. He looks down upon most dragons that are not elementals, and only looks at other Death creations as equals. He also is rather forceful. His persuasion methods aren't necessarily the best (this usually means brutallity), yet they tend to get the idea through their heads.
Other: Nex has the ability to 'raise the dead'. No, he cannot summon an army of flesh-eating zombies. The dragons he raise aren't even deceased, but because of their gaunt state they look very similar to something he may have pried from a grave. He can only summon two at a time, and they are weaker than any dragon on the island. He can rarely make much use of them besides distracting, intimidating, or, in times of desperation, attacking a foe. Being 'undead', these creatures cannot see, talk, nor fly. They can merely understand Nex's commands.
Cause of death:
Nex was swallowed by Olorzxx
OMFG GUYS I STILL HAVE NEX'S ROLEPLAY SAVED ON MY IPAD RIHVBRIHVBRIHVFBIHVBFIH
Last words:
"Nex winced as Olorzxx's repulsive tongue stretched across the water (Which was elevating above Nex's mouth) and sampled his scales. It was appalling to even /think/ about eating another dragon. Seriously considering it was morbid. Exercising the option, however, was downright barbaric.
Yet he continued to consume creations. Why? He had to have some sort of moral sense somewhere in his thick skull. Maybe he should endure the hunger before giving in to cannibalism. If her were starving, at least he'd die with a clean conscience.
Still, Nex supposed that it was too late now. For the both of them, that is. He could not comment on Olorzxx's other remark; the truth was overbearing. Nex had long before accepted the fact that he was leading a pathetic and pointless life. Still, an Elemental running rampant through the territories, snacking on a creation every time he got the occasional pang of hunger could not be, in any way, okay.
... Of course, that's life. C'est la vie. Nothing is fair. That's the way it has always been, and the way it will continue to be.
The water was now pouring into his nostrils, providing him with a rude snap back into reality. He was clinging to floor, the waves overlapping his last source of oxygen. He dipped his head into the water and pushed his nose upward. Great. The drowning part had finally caught up with him.
Nex released what should have been a sigh. If he let go, his fate would be sealed. If he remained, his fate would be sealed. He could not come out of this situation in a victorious manner.
"Olo-olor... Whatever. Giant monster-thing. I think we both know what's going to happen after this. I'm going to be drained into that abyssal gullet yours - my destination seems to be about as black as your heart. You, on the contrary, are going to file out of this cavern, swishing and sloshing in a very merry way."
Nex shoved himself above the waves, trying to make his last word comprehendible.
"But, I'd still like you to know that things always come back around. Karma can strike at any given moment - I just hope it has the decency to to give you your fair share."
Nex felt slightly fulfilled. He had kept his emotions concealed for a countless period of time. Maybe he didn't have said emotions until this very second.
One tends to say things that cannot be returned when their life draws to a dismal end. But who can stop them? Their punishment has exceeded expectations, to say the least.
Speak now or forever hold your peace.
A smile cursed Nex's lips. So close to death, yet his happiness was going haywire for an inexplicable reason.
In the end, he decided to let go."
