Why had he come here? There were so many reasons for him to have come to this dark place to explore, but some large part of him really regretted ever coming here in the first place. This might have once been a calm, if dark, territory but now things had changed so much. The great earthquake causing so much devastation and his vision causing him to relive the events all over again as he flew over. The ground never seemed fully stable to his eyes, always shifting between the way it had been for so many years and now the stark crevices and destruction of the earthquake’s aftermath.
He had come here for really one purpose, no matter how difficult it was for him to be around here. He had come to find out what happened to his companion. So many different things could have possibly happened, but he could not lose hope. There’s no way she would leave you if she was still alive. Give up and leave this horrible place. His usual coward in him kept whispering in his mind, unable to believe that he was actually here and braving so many unknowns. He had to go looking for her, Thallia surely would have done the same if it was him lost, right?
He had never had a chance to meet Icarus, though he knew about all of the Elementals as nearly all creations did. He trusted him enough that he could safely show up to explore with whoever else showed up and be much safer than diving into the unknown alone. He kept mostly to himself, not really talking to anyone in the party unless first spoken to. His orange and gold colors seeming rather muted and pale as the horrific visions were all around him of creatures dying in the quake that opened this dark place. He would be more than happy to stick with the group, so long as his vision did not trick him or he found some sign of his lost companion.
He stayed for just a moment after Darkness moved about and entered past the strange stone guardians as if still second guessing whether he really should be here. Last chance, loser. Are you sure you can brave those depths and see the horrors down there as well? He shook his head, knowing that he would have to stay focused or the horror and his visions would overwhelm him. “Yes sir.” He managed to say as he moved along to follow him in, hopefully with a group.
