Tam scuffed her boot against a sad, withered clump of grass- one of the few reminders of what had once been a densely forested land. It had been a lot to take in at first, once the dust had cleared. And when she'd learned that Ysera was responsible, well. Tivialous had known from the first, that was obvious enough with hindsight. Tam hadn't really considered it. Ysera had always seemed harmless enough- a little unpredictable perhaps, but certainly not in a dangerous way. But now, a whole territory was gone, just like that. Like a sort of Draconic Atlantis. Well, a new one, anyway.
He was with Earth now, off goodness knows where. Tam supposed it had to be difficult for him, this new division between his mate and his best friend. Somewhere down in the tunnels, Icarus was off exploring. The Dark Elemental seemed excited enough about this new place, Tam had to admit. But even so, Ysera had destroyed his home. Surely he would at least have mixed feelings about that one.
Tam wondered what was down there. She'd heard rumours of creatures, relayed back to her from Creations who had been too offput to go on. Harmless to dragons, she was sure, or else Ysera would not have let them descend so readily. Or at least, she supposed that were true.
The young woman tore her gaze away from the gaping hole in the ground, and looked up at Talbot. He and Ivy were to be her exploratory companions, she supposed. Like the three musketeers! Well, they didn't have muskets. But there were three of them, and that was the point. Did the three musketeers even have muskets? She supposed that they did, she didn't really remember.
Hold that thought, she'd been staring blankly at the dragon for too long already. It was going to seem weird if she didn't speak soon. She quickly gathered her thoughts, reminding herself why they had come here in the first place.
"So, are we going in?" she asked, gesturing towards the yawning hole in the ground.
Smooth, Tamara. Could you be any more blunt?
