▪ CELESTIA ▪ ▪ 25 years ▪ ▪ female ▪ ▪ pansexual ▪ Tivialous ▪ Light personality Since the time of Celestia's creation, she has learned several truths.Truth #1: Celestia never asked to be created. But she was, and it's something that she is not ready to forgive Tivialous for. It's not that Celestia doesn't want to exist, she simply feels that her creation was pointless. This is where she draws most of her disdain for most of the Elementals and other creators; the frivolous creation of life. Celestia has little patience for those willing to bring life into the world without a plan, and in her opinion that makes up many occupants of the world. This isn't to say that Celestia doesn't have a respect for life, it is the opposite. Life, in Celestia's opinion, should be revered, not toyed with like a play-thing or forged like an every-day item. Truth #2: Celestia has always been running. She doesn't know why, or whether she is running away from or towards something. Whatever the reason, Celestia rarely stays in the same place for long, even when she is welcomed with open arms. Part of it is her curiosity and joy in seeing new things, but part of it is something deeper. A need to be away, a need to be untraceable, a need to be free from everything. Leaving all the time doesn't make her free, and she knows it, but she does it anyway. Truth #3: People will always leave. So be the first one to say goodbye. It takes effort to befriend Celestia, and few if any have succeeded. Celestia's gaze always seems to be cast beyond whomever she is looking at, as though her mind has already moved on. Yet despite her aloof appearance, her personality has a strange gravity to it. Most who meet Celestia want to explore the mystery that is her mind and thus find themselves drawn to her. Conversations with Celestia seem innocent and normal enough, until she leaves and the person realizes that while they gave themselves away, Celestia let nothing about herself known. Celestia will spend time with those she finds suitable enough, but she will always leave and she never comes back. At least, not to see the same person. Truth #4: The world is a harsh place. That's not Celestia's problem. Celestia is not very generous or helpful. She tends to act apathetic towards matters that don't concern her. While she is curious, Celestia almost never intervenes unless she finds something particularly interesting. Amusement is what catches Celestia's attention, and once she is no longer amused or things get too hairy, she's gone. This doesn't make Celestia a cruel Creation, and she does not come across as cowardly, but when the fight or flight comes into play, she will almost always choose flight. appearance Celestia is known as "The Comet" for several reasons, one of which is her appearance. Her small, diamond-shaped scales are pale gold and icy blue in color. While up close she appears primarily light yellow, from a distance and in fast flight her scales give the illusion of being a pale green. Her plated underbelly is lighter than the rest of her body, almost appearing white, and glimmers brightly in any kind of light. She carries six off-white horns on her head like a crown, two long straight ones protruding from the top of her head and two shorter, curved horns tucked beneath on either side. Iridescent feathers line Celestia's spine, caught in a limbo of colors ranging from icy blue, to pale green, to light yellow. No one knows what color her feathers actually are, as they constantly shift color in the light. Her cat-like eyes are very similar to her feathers in color, in that they seem to be both yellow and blue at the same time, creating a unique bright green. And much like her feathers, few have gazed into Celestia's eyes close enough to see their true color. Celestia's body is built for speed, particularly in flight. Her frame is very long and slender, with relatively short legs compared to the rest of her body. Her tail and neck are lengthy, giving her a long and graceful appearance. Her long, whip-like tail is tipped with a long spade-like protrusion surrounded with large feathers, which Celestia can move independently of one another to assist her in flight. Celestia's long and large bat-like wings are also adorned with feathers, which line the base of the limb but not the webbing. Her wings are intended for long, fast flight, and thus are large but aerodynamic. However, they lack in maneuverability and can be awkwardly cumbersome at times. Powers Celestia is definitely built for speed, not for fighting. Her primary power is super-sonic flight, which is one of the reasons why she is known as "The Comet." In her fast phase of flight, she resembles a comet, her body glimmering pale green as she leaves behind a trail of white light. This flight allows her to span great distances in a relatively short amount of time. The flight does eventually drain Celestia, forcing her to slow back down to normal flight or stop to rest. Celestia's only other ability is her fire-breathing ability, which more closely resembles a small blast of white light spilling from Celestia's mouth. This light-fire acts the same as normal fire, but those touched by the fire would feel an icy-hot pain rather than a fiery one. Things lit on fire by Celestia's light-fire still burn as they would from normal fire, and once lit the fire reverts to its normal coloration. played by: KitKat ▪ face claim: noone |
