Running through the upper central to the north/north eastern parts of the territory are the Chimneys, also known as Liev’s Labyrinth. At the beginning of the world these were mountains, but over time the wind has worn away the rock, leaving columns of orange and tan stone to brush the sky. Trees grow among and sometimes on the Chimneys. Earthmotes and floating islands meander between the stone columns. Much of this area looks the same, making it fairly easy to get lost; hence the name: Liev’s Labyrinth. Liev was one of Astraeus’ more prominent Ambassadors who once lived here and helped shape the Chimneys.

On the northeastern coast, the land suddenly ends at a cliff. The ocean beats restlessly against the rock wall, and the swirling, crashing waters barely cover sharp and jagged rocks. This place is dangerous for any unexperienced swimmer, or a stupidly bold Air Creation. Several coves are hidden among the rock, providing places of solitude and peace. Here the water laps on rocky beaches, and here a cave or two, perfect for exploring, can be found.
The northwestern coast is almost the exact opposite. Soft tan sand meets the gentle waves. Shells are an easy find and seagulls are constant companions.

As one travels deeper into the territory, the ground level slowly rises. Hills, littered with trees and other plant life, become more frequent and the once golden grasses have turned green. Floating islands and earthmotes hover above the ground at any height, making perfect places for Creations to hang out. The floating islands are often large enough have trees growing on them; a few even have waterfalls fed by magical springs, and many of the depressions left by the islands have become ponds. Plenty of birds make this place their home.

This massive floating island more or less lies in the middle of Astraeus’ territory at the southern edge of the Chimneys. Stone columns dwarf the numerous trees that litter the area. Astraeus’ lair is situated at the base of one of the stone columns and is hidden by large bushes, making it easy to pass by. The only creatures one will find here besides Creations are birds, insects, and the Halaur. The sound of twittering birds is a constant background noise among the trees and columns.
